A lot of people choose to concentrate on the negatives, as at times this seems the easier choice than having to search for the positives. We try to outdo each other with our tales of woe and traumatic childhoods. Memories of trips to the beach, hugs and family dinners are substituted with talk of how our parents damaged our childhood, how we had it hard as teenagers.
Our hardships and suffering are used like a badge of honour. It’s as if the harder a person has struggled, the better they are because of it. This way of thinking is wrong.
Although not everyone chooses to sustain a mindset of negativity, those that do are damaging their chances for a fulfilled and happy life. It is as the Law of Attraction teaches (see – money and law of attraction ) – our lives are what we make them. There is no doubt that our lives are a reflection of our energies, emotions, thoughts and words. It is because of this that we must refuse to dwell in negativity, to prevent this becoming our reality.
We must make today the best that it could possibly be, and this can only start with us.

1.Do unto others as you would have them do unto you! Our treatment of ourselves and of others, creates the model from which others learn to treat us.
2.Be truthful. Be your own truth. Live your life authentically – there is nobody else quite like you.
3.Remember the little things. Say ‘thank you’, smile, hold the door open for strangers. Sometimes the smallest deeds and words can leave the greatest impact.
4.Accept others with an open mind. Accept others, just as they are. When we judge others, in actuality, we are only judging the faults and insecurities that we see in ourselves.
5.Forgive. Forgiveness, for yourself and for others, offers the perfect solution to letting go of past hurts and resentments.
6.Practice self-love. Loving yourself and looking after yourself is the best thing that you can do, not just for yourself, but for others too. To experience the very best love in life, you must first be able to love yourself.
7.Say ‘thank-you’. Having an attitude of gratitude can transform your life. When you look for things to be thankful for, you start to find increasingly more reasons to be positive (see – law of attraction quotes ).
8.Use failure. Be unafraid of it, learn from it, and use it as the springboard to your success. Teach others to do the same.
Our lives begin and end with us; how we behave, how we think, our attitude – these are the elements that continually create and change the path our lives take.
